About Us

Pizza Vera is a Košice pizzeria built on sourdough and authentic Italian flour. Our dough is naturally fermented without yeast — slow-risen for lightness, digestibility, and deep flavor. We use exclusively Italian ingredients: flour, mozzarella, prosciutto, Parmigiano Reggiano, and more.

The result is a sourdough pizza that’s crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and never heavy. Every pizza is baked at high temperature with balance and respect for the ingredients. Visit us at Svätého Ladislava 205/20 in Košice or order delivery via Wolt or Bolt Food.

Sourdough we have known since 2011

Pizza Vera was born inside Pekáreň Barca. We have been baking sourdough bread in Košice since 2011, and that same work with a live starter is what stands behind our pizza dough today. Long fermentation, no commercial yeast, just flour, water, salt and time.
